C.J. Guerin

C.J. Guerin is an artist who seeks to transfer the beauty of nature to canvas. She travels the Northeast in search of invigorating scenery to capture.

C.J. is an elected member of the Silvermine Guild of Artists, a distinguished group of professional artists based at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center in New Canaan, CT. The Silvermine Guild Arts Center has, for 100 years, been a gathering place where artists such as Milton Avery and Helen Frankenthaler and art lovers come to appreciate, enjoy and learn about the arts.

Through the Guild and other organizations, C.J. teaches workshops in landscape painting, as well as paper lithography, monotypes, solar etching and collagraph.

The artist is available for private lessons.

Painting ang Monotypes
Thursdays, 1-4 p.m. ,    5 weeks
Cost $265;  includes all materials except paper.

Intro to Printmaking
Thursdays, 1-4 p.m., 5 weeks
Cost $265, includes all material except paper.

Basic Painting
Tuesdays, 1-4 p.m., 10 weeks
Wednesdays, 7-10 p.m. 10 weeks
